January 2: Get Ready for the Sandbox Preview
Salesforce sandboxes are divided into two groups during each release:
- Non-preview instances (current release)
- Preview instances (upcoming release)
To see when and how your sandbox will be upgraded, check the Salesforce Sandbox Preview Guide.
If your sandbox isn’t set for the preview update, make changes before 5 p.m. Pacific Time on January 2 to get early access to Spring ’25 features. Don’t miss this opportunity!
January 3: Start Exploring Spring ’25!
Get ready to test the Spring ’25 updates in your sandbox. Check your sandbox instance status on Trust to see when your upgrade window begins.
Sandbox preview, like the pre-release org, lets you test new features with your customizations—without affecting your live environment.
