At the beginning of August, Salesforce launched the Slack Sales Elevate app. What is it, and how can it transform your sales? Explore our article to find out.
What Is Slack Sales Elevate?
Slack Sales Elevate natively integrates Sales Cloud, empowering sellers to enhance productivity by conveniently updating the pipeline, accessing real-time data, and taking instant action on notifications — all within the familiar Slack messenger. The main aim of Slack Sales Elevate is to keep people focused on selling and speed up closing deals by combining people, processes, Sales Cloud data, and AI-powered features in a single space in Slack.

Slack Sales Elevate Features
- In-Slack Opportunity Updates. With a new Opportunities view in Slack Sales Elevate, sales reps will be able to view and edit any opportunity from a user-friendly spreadsheet-like view that synchronizes any updates directly back into the Salesforce platform. So, updating pipelines becomes even faster and easier, making it possible to modify deal details on the go.
- Real-time Notifications. In Slack Sales Elevate, sales reps will receive automated weekly reminders to update pipelines. Also, with pre-made, no-code templates, sales teams will be able to create custom real-time notifications on pipeline updates, new opportunities, or won deals. Additionally, those alerts can be automatically sent to a relevant record-mapped Slack channel to notify all members of the account team.
- Performance Tracking. Slack Sales Elevate makes it possible to track individual and team progress toward goals with KPI dashboards. For example, team leads will gain immediate visibility into real-time Salesforce metrics, such as deal statuses, quarterly generated pipeline, and closed won ACV.
Availability and Pricing
Slack Sales Elevate is generally available to Slack Business+ plans and above, and Professional, Enterprise, and Unlimited Sales Cloud editions. The tool is priced at $60 per user/month.
Please note that according to Salesforce, “features including AI-generated templates, AI-powered workflows, support for additional Salesforce records (like Accounts, Cases, Contacts, and Leads) and record-mapped channels will be available in the future”.
