An Overview of the New Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud: Here’s What You Should Know

On March 14, 2023, Salesforce announced the reimagined Nonprofit Cloud.

Learn about the changes, discover the features currently available on the enhanced Nonprofit Cloud, and get a glimpse of the Cloud’s 2023 plans.

Nonprofit Cloud: Before and After

Before

Nonprofit Cloud was a curated bundle that included Sales+Service Cloud Enterprise Edition, NPSP, and other on-top apps to manage fundraising, marketing campaigns, programs, and grantmaking. Salesforce for Nonprofits was based on the Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP), a series of packages installed for free on top of the Salesforce Enterprise Edition.

After

Instead of adding nonprofit applications onto the Salesforce platform, as it has been done in the past, the latest Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud is built into the platform’s core. That demonstrates Salesforce’s dedication to providing top-notch technology for nonprofits and their ongoing support for the sector. The company expects that new approach will help to adopt technology innovations across all Salesforce industries.
