Salesforce for Nonprofits was based on the Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP), a series of packages installed for free on top of the Salesforce Enterprise Edition.

Availability and Roadmap
In the new Nonprofit Cloud, Programs and Case Management functionality is available now, while Fundraising and Outcomes Measurement will be available in Winter 2023.
Also, Nonprofit Cloud innovation will be included in the Power of Us program that grants 10 free licenses for nonprofit organizations.
What About the Previous Edition?
Salesforce will support existing solutions, including NPSP, Nonprofit Cloud Case Management, the Program Management Module, and more.
