Day-to-day Salesforce admin work is hard and often underestimated. We’ve been there and understand your possible frustration. Luckily, Salesforce Spring Release ’23 contains some features to ease your admin life.
1. Sharing Hierarchy
The security management of the records access gets easier. With Sharing Hierarchy feature, you will know who shares the record, reasons for access and restrictions rules.
How to use: find the record you need, click Sharing Hierarchy from the Action menu, then click View next to the user’s name. On the new page you will see either sharing rules or restriction rules.
2. Easier Connection of Salesforce With Mulesoft
No more complex configurations via multiple pages – a few clicks are all you need to connect Salesforce with Mulesoft. Log in to the MuleSoft AnyPoint Platform and import MuleSoft Services to Salesforce via one page.
How to use: From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter MuleSoft. Then select MuleSoft > Services. Click Log In and follow the instructions.
3. Reports About Dashboard and Report Subscriptions
From Spring Release ’23, you will have a 360-degree understanding of your user’s subscriptions, such as running user, owner, source, schedule, attachments, etc.
Now you can create custom reports to:
- manage subscriptions for Lightning reports and dashboards, collections, CRM Analytics lenses, and dashboards in Slack.
- review conditions for notifications from CRM Analytics dashboard widgets and Einstein Discovery model quality alerts.
How to use: From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Report Types, and then select Report Types. Then Click New Custom Report Type. There are three types of available reports:
- Subscription Actions report type
- Subscription Conditions report type
- Joined Subscriptions report type (the combination of the subscription actions and the subscription conditions report).
