Here are 7 amazing Summer ’24 release features according to the ENWAY team. We recommend exploring them and implementing them into your daily work.
Draft Flows Built by Einstein (Beta)
The new Einstein for Flow feature will be available in beta this summer.
Based on your description, Einstein creates a draft flow. This could be a screen flow, a record-triggered flow, a schedule-triggered flow, or an auto-launched flow. Einstein can use any element and most resources, including your custom objects. Each draft flow can have up to six elements. You can help improve Einstein by giving feedback on your flows.
This update is available for Lightning Experience in all Einstein 1 Editions, Enterprise, Performance, and Unlimited Editions with the Einstein for Sales, Einstein for Service, or Einstein for Platform add-ons.

Summary of a User’s Permissions and Access
Here is another great feature from the IdeaExchange. With the User Access Summary, we can now see what permissions, public groups, or queues a user is assigned to.
From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Users, and then select Users. Select a user, and then click View Summary.

Closer Look of Permission Sets and Permission Set Groups
This general available feature will definitely ease the admin’s life. To make managing user access easier, we can now see all enabled object, user, field, and custom permissions on one page. We can also see which permission set groups include a permission set and vice versa.
From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Permission Sets, and then select Permission Sets. Or, enter Permission Set Groups and then pick Permission Set Groups. Select a permission set or permission set group, and then click View Summary.

Duplication Check in a Flow Before Creating Records
Starting from the Summer ’24 release, you can check for matching records based on set criteria in the Create Records element to prevent duplicate records.
You can choose to skip or update matching records. If you skip them, the flow won’t create or modify any records. If you update them, the flow changes the records with the values you provide.
The update is available in Lightning Experience and Salesforce Classic in Essentials, Professional, Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions.
In Flow Builder, create a flow with a Create Records element. In the Create Records pane, enable Check for Matching Records and add conditions you need.
Blank Spaces on Dynamic Forms-Enabled Pages
This helpful update was added thanks to IdeaExchange. Now, we can customize field alignment in Dynamic Forms field sections with the new Blank Space component. It can be found on the Fields tab when viewing Dynamic Forms-enabled Lightning record pages in the Lightning App Builder. We can use a blank space to separate fields vertically inside a field section. To enhance alignment, we can use a blank space with the Align fields horizontally property.
Pay attention that a blank space component is considered a field and counts against the limit of 100 fields per region. It doesn’t count against the component page limit.
On the left is the default behavior without Align fields horizontally selected, where the blank space appears with a single row height. On the right, with horizontal alignment selected, the Website field aligns horizontally with Parent Account instead of collapsing upward. Source: salesforce.com
New Action Button Component (Beta)
Another cool feature is presented in beta. Now, we can add an Action Button component to a flow screen to run and retrieve info from an active auto-launched flow without leaving the screen. This component displays a button that starts the flow when clicked.
For example, we can create a screen with a Lookup component that lets users search for and select a Contact record. Then, we add an Action Button component to launch a flow that retrieves the Account, Case, and Opportunity records linked to the Contact and fills in other fields on the same screen. Using the new feature, the user can run the flow without navigating away from the screen.
This change applies to Lightning Experience and Salesforce Classic in Essentials, Professional, Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions.
In Flow Builder, create and activate an auto-launched flow that retrieves data and saves it as outputs that you can reference later in the flow. Then, make a screen flow, add a Screen element, and include an Action Button on the screen. Configure the Action Button to launch the auto-launched flow. Source: salesforce.com
Add New Custom Fields to Dynamic Forms-Enabled Pages
The next amazing Summer ’24 update helps you easily add a new custom field to your Dynamic Forms-enabled pages with a new step in the custom-field creation wizard.
The new field is added to each selected record page as the last field in the first field section.
If there are no Dynamic Forms-enabled pages for the object, this step won’t appear.
Create a custom field as usual in Setup. After setting field-level security, you’ll see a new step to select which Lightning record pages to add the field to. Source: salesforce.com
