A global financial company that helps businesses spend less by providing corporate payment solutions and payment cards.

Challenge

The customer uses online order forms to sell its payment cards. For several countries, they needed to integrate the PayU payment service to automate payment processing. This integration allows clients to pay and receive their solutions quickly, without the need to visit a bank.

So, the Customer reached ENWAY experts for the integration.

Solution

Throughout the project, the ENWAY team took the following steps:

  1. The team integrated the PayU payment service with the Customer’s Salesforce org and Salesforce-based order forms using the PayU REST API.
  2. We created a Payment Transaction custom object to securely store all necessary payment details, including the transaction status and an encrypted portion of the payment card number.
  3. The development team also automated the sales process stages in Salesforce. When a payment is accepted, the system automatically advances the lead to “Closed Won” status.
  4. Using the Marketo automation platform, we have set up an automatic email notification if an order remains unpaid. The email includes a direct URL to the abandoned filled-in form.

Results

Integrating PayU into the Salesforce-based order forms has greatly improved the payment process for our Customer. Transactions are now faster, safer, and simpler for users to complete. Clients no longer need to visit banks in person, as they can pay online, reducing the cycle time and speeding up the entire process. This automation has also decreased the amount of manual work required, allowing staff to focus on more strategic tasks.
