Challenge
All Oxford Summer Courses students must fill out special Travel and Medical forms to provide managers with important data, like arrival/departure time, their medical conditions, emergency contacts, and so on. Previously, these forms were built on Visualforce and implemented through Salesforce Sites.
Links for forms were sent via emails to every customer after the purchase. To provide excellent customer experience and increase security, ENWAY and Oxford Summer Courses started a project of development of a Student Portal built on the Salesforce Experience Cloud.
As a crucial part of the portal’s development, the ENWAY team was tasked to deliver Travel and Medical forms built on LWC and integrate them into the Experience Cloud site.
Solution
ENWAY’s professionals successfully developed LWC pages for Travel and Medical forms and integrated them into the Student Portal, accessible only via credentials.
Forms include various types of fields, such as date, time, multichoice checkboxes, etc. All necessary validations were added to the forms as well. Besides, we added the ability to view and edit the filled out forms for controlling what information managers received.

Results
For Oxford Summer Courses, new Travel, Medical and Consent forms resulted in enhanced security and customizability. Access to forms now requires entering a login and password in the Student Portal, which protects students’ personal data. The filled forms are connected with relevant Records in Salesforce, resulting in better controllability.
There are benefits for the company’s customers as well. Students can access forms anytime from one convenient place to quickly fill them or to review the previously filled data. Moreover, some forms are editable. That increases flexibility and spares clients from additional communication with managers.
