Challenge

Before issuing a payment card, the Customer’s credit department performed a company’s scoring to estimate its credibility and provide a suitable credit limit. As the Customer’s presence grew in Europe, the company faced a challenge with an ever-increasing number of credit applications. The credit team was operating at capacity but couldn’t perform all necessary checks on time. As a result of this bottleneck, the sales process slowed down, and organizations were waiting for their cards.

So, the Customer turned to ENWAY for Salesforce development and integration services.

Solution

ENWAY’s team has developed a Salesforce-based application incorporating the Customer’s credit scoring logic. It allows Sales Cloud users to obtain credit decisions for their clients in real time. Additionally, we implemented the blacklist and duplicate check logic. Also, our team developed a graphic user interface for the credit department to adjust scoring formulas and thresholds with zero code.

The application was expanded to all of the customer’s markets, adding support for API integrations with multiple credit agencies.

Results

Using the Credit Decision Engine from ENWAY, the Customer’s sales teams receive real-time credit scoring for their clients. Blacklist checks and deduplication logic provide an additional layer of security for the company. Moreover, the credit department can effectively update the scoring formulas in all markets with just a few clicks.
