A multi-location restaurant chain in the USA, offering a diverse menu that fuses European and American cuisines.

Challenge

The restaurant already used Salesforce CRM to store and manage customer data. However, guests relied on multiple channels—phone, email, and third-party apps—to ask about the menu or book a table.

This fragmented approach created several issues:

  • High operational effort to answer repetitive menu questions and manage bookings
  • Data scattered across external apps and Salesforce, requiring extra maintenance and investments
  • Limited ability to automate guest interactions or provide personalized recommendations

As guest questions grew across phone, email, and the website, the restaurant needed a smarter solution. Using Agentforce AI, they could answer menu questions instantly, help diners choose dishes, and handle table bookings—all within Salesforce.

To make this happen, the restaurant partnered with ENWAY. ENWAY built an Agentforce AI assistant that replaced third-party tools, guided guests through the menu, filtered dishes by category, and automated table reservations.

Solution

The project focused on configuring an Agentforce AI agent that worked natively within the restaurant’s Salesforce CRM.
The implementation followed structured milestones:

  1. Analysis of current guest interaction channels and identification of common menu questions and booking pain points.
  2. Setup of the initial Agentforce agent inside Salesforce.
  3. Configuration of Salesforce objects, fields, and records to store menu items, categories, and reservations.
  4. Definition of agent topics, actions (including Salesforce Flows), and precise instructions to guide the agent’s reasoning and responses.
  5. Testing of the agent across a wide range of guest scenarios, including menu inquiries, category filters, and table bookings.
  6. Deployment of the agent on the restaurant’s website and mobile channels.
  7. Training of staff to adopt, manage, and update the AI assistant independently.
