Since 2020 Melio has been helping its customers – international students – to get into UK universities by providing them with exceptional online education.

Melio courses include short academic online courses and university preparation for UK universities including the University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge.

Challenge

Before Melio and ENWAY started collaborating, the company didn’t have any CRM.
Leads from the application form were processed manually, and the data was stored in spreadsheets. Melio managers tracked the customer pipeline and formed groups without the help of automated solutions. It was therefore becoming increasingly complex to combine customer information from different channels. As a result, the sales process slowed down.

So, the company started looking for an effective way to manage leads and turned to ENWAY for Salesforce implementation.

Solution

ENWAY’s team enjoyed this challenging project, which included:

  1. Building the data model to store students’ records in Salesforce.
  2. Adding new fields in Salesforce objects (analog to database tables) to create user-friendly layouts.
  3. Creating custom Salesforce objects for keeping detailed information on students.
  4. Creating new application and assessment forms, synchronized with Salesforce.
  5. Automation of sales process using Flow Builder.
  6. Integration of the payment processing platform into Salesforce.

As a result, Melio received a powerful tool to work with its potential and existing customers. Following the customer’s requirements, we focused on standard Salesforce objects, combining them with custom ones. It allowed us to create a manageable and customizable solution.

The data about students and formed groups now is well-structured and kept in the cloud. The sales process becomes automated, and Melio managers can convert leads faster and more efficiently.
